A short presentation...
For as long as I can remember, with friends or on my own, I have loved simply being outdoors, taking the time to be and to observe, gathering those simple and essential moments of happiness.
In 2006 my thirst for wide open spaces took me for a year to a corner of the globe that sings of mystery and breathes history: the Kerguelen Islands. Working as a scientist for a laboratory, I discovered there a world of great wildness. I was lucky enough to live to the rhythm of an overflowing Nature, watching all day long the relentless, well-oiled life cycle of the island's many animal and plant species. A great human adventure that wove strong bonds of friendship. A snub to passing time and to the usual rush of activity.
A visitor for a moment, I keep deep in my heart a warm imprint of these desolation islands.
Back home, I finished my engineering studies and started a PhD. That period was also marked by a more intense practice of the mountains and by a few raw journeys (India, Madagascar, crossing the Alps by bike...).
I have always loved introducing my friends to the mountain world, and sharing those moments is always a great joy. The mountains often stir strong and beautiful emotions, a mix of fear and wonder that sometimes gives birth to true passions. Currently working between science and the mountains, I hope to keep sharing this with you through my profession as a guide.
Feet on Earth and head in the stars.
Or the other way round?
