Program
J1 : Crampon practice and walk up to the hut : After a briefing on the trip ahead, we walk up to the hut, taking the time to go over a few basic notions of glacier travel.
J2 : Ascent of an acclimatisation summit : Departure at dawn to climb a beautiful summit (Aiguille du Tour, Aiguille de la Bérangère, Mont Tondu...) on snow and mixed terrain, to enjoy the high mountains, acclimatise and go further into the notions covered the day before. Descent, rest and night in the valley.
J3 : Walk up to the Tête Rousse hut : After a restful morning, the Mont Blanc tramway takes us from Saint-Gervais to the Nid d'Aigle (2400m), from where we follow a steep path to the Tête Rousse hut (3167m), away from the crowds of the Goûter hut, for a restful night at a reasonable altitude.↑ 767m ↓ 0m
J4 : Ascent of Mont Blanc - Night at the Goûter hut : Setting off early in the morning, we cross the famous Goûter couloir in good safety conditions, since it is early, and a ridge leads us to the Goûter hut, where a welcome break lets us leave some of our gear behind. We then continue on our way: the Dôme du Goûter, the Vallot shelter and finally the Bosses ridge, which curves up to a quiet summit, as we are out of step with the roped parties that left from the Goûter hut. With Mont Blanc as an aperitif, we enjoy these precious moments before descending to the Goûter hut for dinner in beautiful light.↑ 1643m ↓ 1015m
J5 : Descent to the valley : After a well-deserved night at the Goûter hut, we descend the ridge of the same name and cross the couloir again early in the morning, returning to the valley after a beautiful high-altitude journey!↑ 0m ↓ 1460m
